Raphael,
Finally got to try out the 14m neo2.
Light winds 8-12 mph, I'm 140 lbs on a Naish 135 Thorn.
No winds for most of the time until now with only two days with so so winds.
I decided to try the Neo and my 16M Naish Boxer.
The Boxer flew, but was hard to keep it at the edge of the window with good
stearing responce.
So I got out the Neo and gave it a run.
Took awhile for the sail to inflate in the light winds.
But once it launched I could tell it was better in light winds than my largest LEI.
It hovers better and had more pull than the Boxer did today.
It would backstall just a bit and the tips would curl in when the wind would drop suddenly.
but would wake up just as quick when the wind picked up again.
Getting up on the Thorn was a chore with both boards with such little wind but was
better with the neo.
I decided to test the neo's features since boosting was not happening today.
Reverse landing and take off was real cool and easy to pull off.
I did have a problem while testing the emergency release.
I pushed it and, no release.
I pushed it again reeeeeal hard then it released.
There was no emergency, I just wanted to see how well it worked and wanted to
try and re-launch after that.
Pulled the strap, kite opened up and flipped over automaticly and was back in the air.
Looking at it now the release latch is just a bit too long for the throw of the coller.
Nothing 5 seconds with a grinder can't solve.
Other than that the neo did great.
Can't wait till we get some good wind.
I hear this kite will boost BBBIG time.
I'll let you know what happens.

You Rock!

Truely appreciate it! I have to say, I contacted 3 other companies about the Apex II, and you were the only one to respond.

Once again thanks for the quick reply. We will definitely do business again, and I can't wait to try out the kite.

Thanks again Raphael!

Sincerely,

I highly recommend power kiting lessons from Virginia Power Kites.  I came to camp with an understanding of the wind window and the ability to fly a small, two line sport kite.  I received guided practice and constructive feedback in piloting a variety of kites including the trainer kite, the four - line Beamer and the 11 meter Neo and the other large power kites. Raphael is a skilled instructor and the learning process was a positive experience for me.
I love my Hydra! The kite arrived fully assembled and ready to fly.  I applied what I learned from Power kiting Camp to have a great first time flight, The Hydra is a powerful engine and a thrill to fly!
Wakeboarding camp was a true adventure for me. Raphael patiently coached me, and taught me the board skills needed to wakeboard. Wakeboarding is a blast!
