Virginia Power Kites provides PASA certified instruction. That means that you can become a member of PASA once we certify you as a PASA level one kiteboarder. There are many benefits to PASA membership, including liability insurance up to $1,000,000, a subscription to kiteboarding magazine, a 20% discount off iKitesurf wind reports, and evaluation of your kiteboarding skills according to established PASA criteria.

Our group lessons take place at the Back River in the Hampton Roads area at Factory Point. This is ideal for beginning kitesurfers because of the flat, shallow water:
