HQ has set the bar even higher for multi-purpose closed cell foils with its second version of the NEO. The 6 and 8 meter Neo IIs are ideal for 20-30 knot winds; the 11 meter Neo II is ideal for 15-25 knots; and the 14 meter is ideal for 10-20 knots (assuming a 175 pound kitesurfer). 15 meter Matrixxx 8-17 knots (kitesurfing); 12 meter Matrixxx (13-20 knots), 9 meter Matrixxx (20 knots plus). The Matrixxx is a higher aspect ratio kite that produces more lift than the Neo II; the Neo II is very stable, and the Matrixxx is for speed and lift.

The Neo II is a very stable, all around kite with a medium aspect ratio kite with moderate turning speed.

The new HQ Matrixxx is a higher aspect ratio kite with higher lift, greater upwind ability.
